I won’t do this often so don’t get used to it. I’m about to tell you about a really great anime that you should watch, so soak this all in until the next rare moment that I decide to share a review about an anime.
The anime I’m talking about is called Mushishi. Not sure if you’ve heard of it before but it’s really good. I discovered it on Masterani and decided it give it a try and it didn’t disappoint.
The anime is well… different to say the least.
It’s really about good story telling, great plot development and it just has elements of a great anime in a unique way. Not all anime are alike of course but this one is somehow different, so it’s hard to describe.
It addresses a fantasy world that is so well pronounced and crafted that it seems as though it may or may not be possible.
This world is filled with mystery and this anime tries to solve these puzzles with creatively angled stories about the supernatural and bizarre occurrences happen.
It’s like no anime that I have seen before so if you want to watch a show with a really good story line, then this is the one for you. I can say I was left wanting more because the stories were so deliciously imaginative that I felt like I couldn’t get enough.
The only thing I didn’t like about it was the introduction song. I just think it was such an ugly song but at the same time it is the perfect song for this anime because of the lyrics. Listen carefully to the words of the song and you’ll basically get the gist of what the anime is about. Once, you’ve finished a few episodes that song will actually start to seem poetic in a way because of how well it connects to the stories in the anime and the altruistic nature of the main character.
I don’t want to give a lot way so I won’t spill too much about it, but you should check it out because it is inimitable.
I give it a 5/5 obviously ;)
If you’ve seen it, tell me what you think about it below. Don’t be stingy with your thoughts!
